Boat Trip
Vis Island can fly under the radar a little bit versus its neighbors…Hvar is world-famous and offers flashy nightlife, Korcula is insanely charming, and the Pakleni islands are gorgeous and super convenient to Split.
Because it’s a bit further out, Vis doesn’t get the same amount of day-trippers that these other islands do (which makes it perfect, in my opinion). Instead, you either need to visit it on a multi-day sailing adventure like I did, or commit to basing yourself here for at least 2 to 3 days to really get a feel for it.
I’ve already done a detailed post on the island tour that we took, but I wanted to showcase more of Vis Island’s charm, including both the main Vis town and the quiet bay we moored on later.
